Happy Thursday with

Elizabeth Busch & Sue Anne Sheya

Enjoy live music, a glass of wine, and appetizers Thursday, August 26th from 4:00-7:00pm. This week we will be enjoying the flute and guitar duo of musicians Sue Anne Sheya and Elizabeth Busch as an exciting addition to the local music scene.

Classical guitarist Elizabeth Busch made her overseas debut in 1999, performing Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez with the Chester Philharmonic in Chester, England. She received her Master’s of music from the University of Southern California (studying under William Kanengiser) in 2005, and released her first CD, Romance de la Guitarra: Music of Spain and Latin America in 2008.  She performs regularly throughout northern California, and currently lives and teaches guitar in Davis, CA.

Sue Anne Sheya is now based in Davis, CA as a performer and instructor of the flute.  A versatile musician, she has performed with many groups including Ballet West Orchestra, the Utah Chamber Orchestra, the Salt Lake Symphony, Pro Musica, and the Salt Lake Philharmonic Orchestra.  She has performed big band music with the Joe Muscolino band, and has been a member of the Mid-Eastern and North African musical group Kairo by Night since 1985, whose CD Lahadat won the 2003 Album of the Year for Best New Music by the International Association of Middle Eastern Dance.
